RSPB Spring Raffle Rules
- Underage gambling is an offence and it is illegal for anyone under the age of 16 to purchase tickets or enter a lottery (or raffle). Applications for the RSPB Spring Raffle 2026 must be from players aged 18 years old or over. No person under the age of 18 is allowed to enter. Players will be asked to provide their date of birth and to confirm they are 18 or over when signing-up to enter via the website or telephone. RSPB reserves the right to require proof of identity and age.
- Any person who has entered and/or participated in the RSPB Spring Raffle 2026 who is subsequently found to be underage will automatically forfeit any prize and will be excluded from future entries. If a child under 18 years old is found to have participated in the raffle after the raffle draw has taken place, then a full refund will be made to that person and any prizes that might otherwise have been due to them will not be paid out. If prizes have already been paid out, all reasonable attempts will be made to recover them.
- The draw will take place on 5 May 2026
- The RSPB Spring Raffle 2026 closes on Monday 27 April 2026. Any entry which is received after this date will be deemed as a donation at the discretion of the RSPB.
- Tickets purchased online or over the phone cannot be paid for by credit card, and must be made by Debit Card, cheque or cash only, in line with Gambling Commission guidelines.
- All profits from the raffle will be used to fund work by RSPB.
- In the calendar year 2025, RSPB received £768,448 in ticket sales and of that, 59% was spent on RSPB work, 8% on prizes and 33% on expenses. In 2025, the likelihood of winning a prize in the RSPB raffle was 1 in 3,624 per ticket purchased. Raffle profits help to support the conservation of birds, other wildlife, and the natural world, by protecting and restoring habitats and landscapes, saving species and connecting people to nature, for public benefit.
- The RSPB reserves the right without notice or reason to cancel or refuse entry to the raffle. The RSPB decision on all matters affecting the draw is final and legally binding. No correspondence regarding the results of the draw will be entered into.
- Complaints will be handled in line with the complaint’s procedure found within RSPB Policy & Procedure. Complaints that cannot be resolved by the RSPB including personal attention from the Promoter will be escalated to a third party; the Independent Betting Adjudication Service Ltd (IBAS).
- The top three winners will be notified by telephone where a telephone number is available. A list of the winning ticket numbers will be published on the RSPB website as soon as possible on a working day after the draw. The list of the winning ticket numbers can also be accessed by calling RSPB Supporter Services on 01767 693680 (9 am-5.15 pm, Monday to Friday).
- The cost of each ticket and entry is £1. New players will be sent no more than 12 tickets. Players can purchase a maximum of 120 tickets for this Raffle and payment must be received (and payment cleared) before entry to the draw.
- There are 53 prizes available. Raffle prizes are drawn at random, with the first winner drawn being awarded the first prize, the second winner being drawn awarded the second prize, and third winner drawn being awarded third prize. The draw will continue in a similar fashion until all prizes are drawn.
- The first prize is £10,000. The second prize is £2,000. The third prize is £500. There are 50 x Runners Up prizes of £50. There are no alternatives and no interest is payable. Payment of prizes will be made within 30 days of the draw. The RSPB reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize or cash substitute of equal or higher value if necessary.
- No liability is accepted for
- Any loss or damage, including the right to claim a prize if the terms and conditions are not complied with.
- Loss, theft or delay due to post or for any interest for late items.
- Late bank payments.
- Tickets may not be sold in the street.
- RSPB staff, trustees and their families are excluded from playing all RSPB raffles and lotteries, including the RSPB Spring Raffle 2026. Volunteers may participate in raffles and lotteries unless they are involved in the administration of that raffle/lottery in which case they must be excluded. This applies to the volunteer's immediate family. The Woods Group Ltd employees are excluded from playing the RSPB Quarterly Raffle/ RSPB Weekly Lottery, including the RSPB Spring Raffle 2026.
- No detail in the application may be changed in any way once it has been submitted except for change of address.
- The RSPB reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website: rspb.raffleentry.org.uk
- The RSPB Spring Raffle 2026 is open to residents of England, Wales and Scotland. No entrants are allowed from Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, or the Isle of Man.
- The RSPB Spring Raffle 2026 is subject to the laws of England and Wales.

These Terms and Conditions are the Raffle Rules. By entering the Raffle, players agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Prizes are subject to availability and the Society reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal value. There are no alternatives to the cash prizes, and no interest is payable. Cash prizes will be paid within 30 days of the draw by cheque or voucher by post. Any prize not claimed or banked within 6 months of the draw will be classed as forfeited and treated as a donation to the Society. The Society and its’ ELM employees involved in the Raffle operations and licensees are excluded from playing the Raffle.
Restrictions / Rules of Play Responsible Gambling * No detail in the raffle application may be changed in any way once it has been submitted except for change of address or name, whether by reason of marriage or by deed poll or other. The Society may amend these terms and conditions at any time. The Society will notify all participants of any significant changes to these terms and conditions via this website or by contacting you directly using the contact details provided on entry to the Raffle. The Society reserves the right without notice or reason to cancel or refuse entry to the Raffle and to modify, cancel or terminate the Raffle in whole or in part at the Society’s sole discretion. The Society’s decision on all matters affecting the draw is final and legally binding. No correspondence regarding the results of the draw will be entered into.
